  1. Where are most of your furnitures manufactured from?

Our furnitures are locally and internationally sourced from various locations. This ensures that our customer receives the best quality in our furnitures.

 

  1. Where can I look for the reviews of the furnitures that I want to purchase?

Reviews are soon to come to the online store. However, customers can visit our showroom to have a better look at the furnitures they want.

 

  1. Can I trust the quality of DERUMA furnitures?

Yes you can, DERUMA furnitures are all hand-picked by us. Materials for each furniture are also stated clearly. If you are still unsure of the furniture’s quality, you are advised to visit our showroom to have a better look at the furnitures. 

 

  1. Does the retail showroom have all the furnitures shown in DERUMA online store?

All furnitures are in our online store. However, not all furnitures listed are displayed in the showroom. To ensure that the furnitures you are looking for are available in our showroom, you can contact us beforehand at 019-9563199 to avoid extra hassle.

 

  1. Is there a warranty for all the furnitures being sold in DERUMA?

A: Most of the big piece furniture have warranty. We have stated each furniture’s warranty under their description. You may check out in our Shop page.

 

  1. Can I customize DERUMA furniture?

No, we do not do customization at the moment.

 

Order & Payment

  1. Can I earn loyalty points from purchasing in DERUMA during online shopping?

Currently, we do not offer loyalty points during online shopping in DERUMA. 

 

  1. Is there a referral program available in DERUMA online shopping?

Currently, we do not offer any referral program during online shopping in DERUMA.

  1. Can I directly buy the furniture through the warehouse? 

No, our warehouse is not open to the public. However you can arrange self pickup for purchased items at our warehouse. 

 

  1. How do I check the delivery fees for different items?

Delivery fees are stated under each item. To have a better clarification, please visit Shipping Information page.

 

  1. What do I do if I want to purchase an item that is sold out with no ETA written?

You may contact our retail showrooms via Whatsapp.

 

  1. What are the online payment methods available while shopping in DERUMA?

The online payment methods available are Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, ipay88, FPX, UnionPay), Boost, GrabPay, TouchnGo eWallet and ShopeePay.

 

  1. Is it secure when I submit my credit card information to DERUMA online store?

Of course. 

 

  1. Can I make an installment plan when I purchase DERUMA furnitures?

Hi there, yes we do have installment plans. DERUMA offers Aeon Credit, Public Bank credit installment and Maybank credit installment.
Our installment plan up to 12 months 0% interest (only available for Public Bank & Maybank) 

We accept any online bank payment in our online store. 

For the showroom purchase we accept any debit card transaction.

 

  1. Is any deposit needed when purchasing furniture from DERUMA?

No, we only accept full payment for DERUMA online store.

But, if you directly purchase with a certain amount in our showroom, we will accept the deposit. 

 

Shipping & Delivery

  1. If I direct purchase through DERUMA online store, can I choose my delivery date?

Yes, you may purchase directly from our online store. The delivery team will contact you to confirm a suitable delivery date.

 

  1. Can I purchase now and deliver months later?

Yes, we can showroom purchased items for customers up to 2 months.

 

  1. Can I change my delivery date or time on the furnitures that I bought?

Yes, you can call to change them but an advance notice of 3 working days will be needed. Please email askme@DERUMA.com.my or WhatsApp 019-956 3199 to do so.

 

  1. How does DERUMA deliver their goods?

Currently, our self-delivery service covers East Coast Malaysia only.
The service includes free installation, quality check, and general inspection upon arrival. 

DERUMA is partnering up with Parcel To Post courier service for other areas in West Malaysia to deliver your furniture. We deliver the furniture through a courier or sea shipment for East Malaysia. The shipping fee will be calculated based on the furniture volumetric weight, and self-installation is required.

 

  1. Will DERUMA do quality checking before sending out my furniture?

Of course. We want to ensure that our customers receive the best of our furniture.

 

  1. How do I track the estimation of delivery time on the furnitures that I bought?

Depending on stock availability, the goods will generally take around 10 – 14 working days to deliver. Our delivery team will contact you 1 – 3 working days prior to the actual delivery date to schedule a delivery appointment. Made-to-order items would usually take around 5 – 6 weeks. For pre-order items, estimation time arrival (ETA) will be written on each item. Customers can also email us at askme@deruma.com.my or WhatsApp 019-956 3199 if you are still unsure of the delivery time.

 

  1. Is assembly service included after purchasing from DERUMA?

Yes, our professional furniture delivery team will help you assemble your furniture without extra charges. (except for selected furniture that requires a professional installer to install the set)

However, assembly service will not be provided for customers who self-collect the items.

 

  1. What should I do if I made an online purchase saying that I would like to self-collect the items but decided to have it delivered instead? (Or vice-versa)

You can email us at askme@deruma.com.my if you decide to change it from self-collect to delivered or vice-versa. Do take note that the necessary charges or refund will be needed to do this. You may refer to the Return & Refund Policy here.

 

  1. Can I ship to foreign countries?

  1. Can I self-collect the furnitures I bought from DERUMA?

Yes, you may select ‘SELF COLLECT’ during your check-out. However, assembly service will not be provided for self-collect items. For more information, refer Shipping Information page.

You can self-collect at our DERUMA warehouse.
